This Dramatic Portrait
In the battle between God and Mammon, the winner is obvious for Mammon in this director's delightfully tacky biopic of the disgraced televangelist plus her lawbreaking partner. It's an extravaganza of poor styling, bad makeup and bad faith, yet the lead actress succeeds to depict the character as a sympathetic figure. Next Tuesday, 1.15am, on Film4
This Espionage Thriller
This period's second offering from the filmmaker presents a espionage tale as tight similar to the collars used by Michael Fassbender's intelligence officer.
